A big surprise this morning to see a decent swell flowing into Tland reef with waves around 6ft on the sets, one and a half over head and increasing to around 8ft, double over head later into the day. Wind had a little too much south during the day.

A big surprise this morning to see a decent swell flowing into Tland reef with waves around 6ft on the sets, one and a half over head and increasing to around 8ft, double over head later into the day. Wind had a little too much south during the day but the best conditions were early morning and late afternoon. High tide was at 8.34am at around 3.00 meters.

Today was too small for surfing a great day for exploring the island or snorkelling at a sheltered spot from the wind. A sign of a new swell coming.

Small again today out at Tland reef around 2ft still surfable with offshore winds from the south east. High tide was at 4.27 pm at around 2.60 meters.

Swell had dropped away today at Tland still surfable but small around 2ft, waist high. Winds were quite steady from the south east so better low tide with protection from the reef. High tide was at 3.40pm at around 2.40 meters.
